Matt Miller

Chief Creative Officer, BBDO San Francisco

Matt Miller is the Chief Creative Officer of BBDO San Francisco. He was recently promoted to this position, having joined the agency as an Executive Creative Director in 2014.

Prior to BBDO, Matt was at Leo Burnett where he first gained industry attention as the original creator of the “Mayhem” campaign for Allstate Insurance, which was inducted to the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame in 2011. Matt also lead the creation of the “Recipeace” campaign for Non-profit Peace One Day, which went on to win Best-In-Show at the One Show Design as well as the inaugural White Pencil at the D&AD. 

Other notable projects include “Mean Stinks” the anti-bullying campaign for Secret. At BBDO, he led the “Working Together” brand campaign for Wells Fargo, and more recently, “Imagine the Possibilities” for Barbie.

Miller's diverse body of work on a wide array of brands has won over 150 industry awards including recognition at shows like Cannes, One Show, D&AD, The Clio Awards, ACD, Radio Mercury Awards, The Effie Awards and Young Guns.

Before working in advertising, Matt spent time in Brazil, Peru and Mozambique working on numerous humanitarian initiatives including establishing micro loan programs, green house construction and work in orphanages. 

Matt and his wife Rachel have three kids, Sam, Mae and Grant. Matt also loves reading, skiing and eating.
