Matt Derella is Global Vice President of Twitter Client Solutions, where he leads Twitter’s partnerships with top marketers and agencies worldwide. Matt oversees a team of regional business leaders as well as Twitter’s global teams focused on partnerships, agencies and brand strategy.

Matt has spent his career working with brands to innovate across television and digital platforms. Prior to Twitter, Matt was a Director at Google, where he managed advertising partnerships with large agencies and clients and helped lead YouTube’s entry into the premium content space. Prior to Google, he was a Vice President at The Weather Channel Companies, leading marketing solutions and their largest revenue teams.

Matt has been a featured speaker at various industry events, including Advertising Week and The Milken Conference. His perspectives on advertising have been published across leading industry publications such as Adweek and Advertising Age.

In 2005, Matt founded Careoke for the Kids, an industry event that has raised $1.5M for children with cancer. He also is on the board of Literacy Partners, a nonprofit committed to eradicating illiteracy in New York City. Matt holds a B.A. in English from Georgetown University, where he graduated with honors. He resides in New York City with his wife Melissa and his two sons Dylan and Colby.
