AAF’s Great Brand Campaign Wins Grand CEBA Award

American Business Media, an association of business media companies, bestowed its "Grand CEBA" (Creative Excellence in Business Advertising Award) to the Great Brands campaign created by Carmichael Lynch for the AAF at a Thursday evening ceremony in New York.

The AAF's "Great Brands" campaign seeks to promote the importance and value of advertising to corporate executives nationwide. Carmichael Lynch's creative execution features famous brands with "Advertising" substituted for the brand name, to emphasize that advertising plays a critical role in building brand equity and recognition. With unprecedented permission, leading brands such as Coca-Cola, Sunkist, Energizer, Budweiser, Intel and Altoids allowed their icons to be modified for use in the campaign. The tag line for the "Great Brands" campaign is "Advertising. The way great brands get to be great brands."

"This campaign demonstrates that advertising is an essential component to building brand equity, market share and stockholder value," says Wally Snyder, AAF president & CEO. "The creative execution of Carmichael Lynch perfectly illustrates the importance of advertising, not only at this time but for all time."

Visit our Great Brands page for more information on the campaign.
