Iain Tait, Global Interactive Executive Creative Director, Wieden+Kennedy

Iain Tait joined Wieden+Kennedy as Global Interactive Executive Creative Director in April 2010. He's working hard to figure out what that actually means in practice, but in the meantime he's working with the global network and the agency's key clients to continue to evolve W+K’s creative product and process, making sure that the opportunities provided by new technology are at the forefront of the agency’s offering.

He’s excited by what happens when you combine great storytelling with the power and connectivity of the digital world. The Old Spice “Response” campaign hints at what can happen when those two worlds collide.

Prior to joining W+K he was a founder and creative directors of Poke, a digital creative agency with offices in London and New York. He worked on advertising and design projects for a range of clients such as American Express, Orange, Yahoo! and Zopa.

His work has been awarded by lots of industry bodies including D&AD, One Show, Cannes Lions, the Clio Awards, Art Directors Club of New York and Creative Circle. And he's been lucky enough to judge many award shows, including being Jury Chair for One Show Interactive, D&AD and London International Advertising Awards. But nothing makes him happier than when ordinary human beings enjoy using and interacting with things that he’s been involved with.

New Media Age magazine named him the most influential person in new media in the UK in 2009. He's also included in the 2010 and 2011 Creativity 50, Ad Age's 25 Media Mavens and Fortune magazine's 2010 40 Under 40. He's also a member of the World Economic Forum Council on the Future of Entertainment.

He has a degree in psychology from the University of Edinburgh and has always been fascinated and motivated by the ever-evolving relationship between people and technology.

He lives in Portland, Oregon with his good lady wife. And he is the father of twin toddlers. Which makes him incredibly proud and terrified in equal measure.

Hamdi Ulukaya, CEO, President & Founder, Agro Farma

Agro Farma’s leader, Hamdi Ulukaya was born and raised in Turkey where his family, who has cheese and yogurt operations spanning throughout Turkey, has an extensive history of dairy farming and manufacturing.

Ulukaya’s personal journey in the dairy industry started in the US, where he moved to pursue a MBA at SUNY Albany after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science in Turkey. It was during his time in New York that he first realized the opportunity to make high-quality yogurt and feta cheese accessible to consumers in the US.

His vision came to life with the 2002 launch of Euphrates, a wholesale producer of authentic feta cheese located in a state of the art facility in Johnstown, NY. The company takes its name from the Euphrates River that flows nearby Ulukaya's home in the eastern mountains of Turkey.

After reaching quick success with Euphrates, Hamdi started Agro Farma in 2005 and spent almost two years perfecting the recipe for the company’s first product offering-a Greek yogurt line called Chobani. The first cup of Chobani hit shelves in September 2007 and has since become America’s #1 yogurt brand, growing more than 200% over the past year alone.

Chobani, or “chopani,” means shepherd in Mediterranean languages and is a word that holds much meaning for Ulukaya as it’s a symbol of giving yet asking nothing in return.

This notion of generosity shines true to the brand, as it donates 10% of its annual profits, through their Shepherd’s Gift Foundation, to individuals working for positive, long lasting change.

Hamdi resides in Norwich, NY. His passions include traveling, writing, horseback riding, and sailing. Hamdi is also an avid supporter of independent films and funds several festivals throughout the year.
